Otsuka Pharmaceutical (H.K.) Ltd., the manufacturer of Pocari Sweat has entered into an agreement with Vitasoy International Holdings Limited to become the sole distributor of Pocari Sweat in Hong Kong vending machines. Starting from 1 April, 2007, 340 mL can and 500 mL bottle of Pocari Sweat will be available at Vitasoy’s full service vending machines across Hong Kong.
Mr. Takayuki Kushida, Managing Director of Otsuka Pharmaceutical (H.K.) Ltd. said that, “Vitasoy International Holdings Limited (VIHL) is a highly established beverage brand in Hong Kong and is very experienced in distributing beverage products. Through its extensive vending machine network in Hong Kong, consumers can enjoy Pocari Sweat across Hong Kong anytime”.
Mr. Larry Eisentrager, Chief Executive, Hong Kong of VIHL, said that, “We are very delighted to cooperate with Otsuka Pharmaceutical (H.K.) Ltd. to expand the distribution channels of Pocari Sweat in Hong Kong. Addition of Pocari Sweat in our vending machines not only strengthens our product portfolio, but also provides more choices for our consumers.”
